Waves

Makes me always think of unfettered love. Love is timeless, which means I am unbound and free. As a child I had the sweet pleasure of growing up at the beach. When there were big waves at the Wedge, it would break inside the jetty. Big surf was always very exciting. We’d watch the waves rolling in along the jetty, challenging our surfer boy friends to paddle out and catch a few good rides off the end. Fun to watch their skills and bravado. Which, as I say, reminds me of Love. Love isn’t subject to man-made rules and laws. Love cannot be held captive. It’s unpossessed and...

Absolutely All

I don’t know a better name for God than God. I remember Tom Sawyer’s advice to Becky Thatcher “Don’t explain no more ‘ n ya haf ‘ ta.” Ok, so there is only one Reality and It is All That Is. It is Divine Mind the Presence we are experiencing Right Here and Now. This whole sense of being You and Me, Is God and God’s Awareness. God and God’s Awareness begets the Holy Child. That’s who you are. We are not God, God is Greater – but God is being all that we are. So, yes, we let go the old dogma, the old beliefs and lies we’ve...

Moonbeams

“Meadow Moon Gazing” by Sandy Jones Mysterious magnetic moonbeams emanating vibrant magic illumination of her brilliance, as the aura of colors and light, spinning radiant circles of beguiling enchantment, casting spells of love over my garden of luminous wonder in the dark stillness of the night.

Unleashed

I just had to use this adorable image of the long-legged beauty with her puppy loves. I find it very appealing. This Child that has returned to me, she has her own way of knowing how to live in the world of ever changing scenery. To evoke the spirit of joy in these difficult times, seems the right thing to do. The Child is our True Nature that lives the divine Balance. This Child is both carefree and unconcerned, while intuitively knowing what to do and how to do it. The Child is the natural spirit of Tao, It lives the middle way. The Balanced way does not go to extremes. It remains peaceful...

I’m Here

I’m Here

One thing about being lost is that no matter where we are, we are always Here. People are feeling lost in the midst of old values and traditions being destroyed and unreliable organizations, and unsecured foundations slipping away. It’s always a good thing to know that Here, right Here, right where you are, you are Here. And Knowing that Here is absolutely reliable and secure. Here is the Divine Presence of God. There is no other Here here. Which reminds me – as the story goes, when my dad was a little boy, 5 years old, he got accidentally locked in the linen closet at his aunts...

The Library

The Library

My mother had a brilliant mind, she was extremely intelligent, she was also very anxious and uneasy – and she was so very beautiful in all ways. She loved to dance and sing, she was like a lovely bird caught in a cage. She was an avid reader, going to the library for more books was one of her favorite things to do. So, when I was very young, she would take me with her. And I loved it. I would sit in the children’s book section and look at all the intriguing and delectable offerings on the shelves. Then I’d gather a little stack of my choices to take home to read. That...
